Not remotely — it is one of the two ways people come to us, and it is often the easier one because there is nothing to untangle. You do not need to know what you want yet, and you do not need any technical knowledge. We work out what the site needs to do for your business, register the domain and business email if you do not have them, and take it from there. First websites are usually live sooner than people expect.
Yes. The site, the code, the content and the domain are yours. We host and maintain it because that is genuinely easier for you, not to hold it hostage. If you ever want to move it elsewhere, we hand over everything and help with the transfer.
We do not publish a price list, because we do not sell a fixed product. A five-page site for a local trade and a multi-currency store are not the same job, and pretending they are just means someone gets overcharged. No. We point your existing domain at the new site and set up SSL on it. You keep the address your customers already know and any email running on it keeps working. If you do want a new domain, we will find one and register it for you.
You email us and we make them. New prices, new staff, a new page, a photo swapped out — that is what the maintenance side is for, and it is usually done the same day. You never have to log into anything or learn a content management system unless you want to.
No. We build on a private preview link that only you can see, and your current site stays up the whole time. Nothing switches over until you have looked at the new one and told us to go. The changeover itself takes minutes and we schedule it when you are quiet.
Not if it is done properly. We map every existing address to its new one before launch so old links keep working, keep your page titles and content intact unless you want them changed, and submit the new structure to search engines on the day. Rankings usually improve, because the new site loads faster and is built to be read by search engines.
